TVS Motors has entered into a partnership with e-commerce portal Snapdeal to sell their motorcycles and scooters online.
TVS Motors will be selling nine two-wheelers through the portal and customers will be able to select model, colour and dealership of their choice. As of now, the latest launch from TVS, the Apache RTR 200 4V is not being sold through the platform.

TVS Motors has joined a growing number of automobile companies selling through Snapdeal which include Piaggio, Mahindra, Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp who were the pioneers of selling through e-commerce websites. Recently, Michelin started selling tyres along with free fitment and limited road side assistance.
TVS launched its most powerful bike yet, Apache RTR 200 4V. It features a single pot 197.75 cc engine cooled with the help of air cum oil cooler. The engine is tuned to deliver 20.23 hp at 8,500 rpm and 18.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The transmission is going to be 5-speed, uncommon for these higher capacity bikes which use a six-speed gearbox. 0-60 kmph comes up in 3.9 seconds and the bike tips the scale at 140 kgs.
