Samsung has launched its latest flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in India at its exclusive launch event in New Delhi. Both the smartphones were unveiled globally last month. After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, this is the next big launch for Samsung in the country. In India, Samsung will launch the Exynos variant, meaning both the flagships will be powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos 8895 (2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad) processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display while the bigger S8+ offers a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy S8 will house a 5.8-inch display powered by a 3,000mAh battery while the S8+ will offer a 6.2-inch screen with a 3,500mAh battery.
Both the smartphones will feature curved displays with 18:9 aspect ratio, something which was introduced in the latest flagship LG G6. Also, both the S8 handsets will offer an almost be bezel-less design.
