Mumbai, Bengaluru, 14 February 2017/Team Estrade//– Jet Airways has revised its schedule due to the closure of main runway in Mumbai. The main runway is closed from 6th February 2017 to 29th April 2017. Commenting on this the spokesperson from Jet Airways said, “In light of the closure of the Mumbai main runway with effect from February 6 until April 29, 2017, Jet Airways has revised the schedule for some of its flights arriving into/ departing from Mumbai. Our Contact centre is taking proactive steps to keep guests updated of revised timings and re-accommodation on alternate flights where necessary, via SMS or phone calls. Guests are also advised to check the revised schedules and updates on our website — www.jetairways.com — or reach out to their travel agents / Jet Airways Contact centre, for information on their flights for this period”.
In Bengaluru, due to the up-gradation and Aero India show, the closure was from 8th February 2017 to 11th February 2017. The company had revised its schedule for the same and the spokesperson had said, “In light of the forthcoming closure of the Bengaluru Airspace with effect from February 8 to 11, 2017, Jet Airways has revised the schedule of some of its flights arriving into/ departing from Bengaluru. Our Contact centre is taking proactive steps to keep guests updated of revised timings and re-accommodation on alternate flights where necessary, via SMS or phone calls.
