Mumbai: One of the successful smartphone selling company Motorola is expected to launch its 4th generation Moto G series, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.
On Thursday (Apr 28), Motorola India has sent invites for the event to be held on May 17 at a New Delhi. The event organised will witness the launch of Moto G (Gen 4) aka Moto G4 model. The mobile market also expects Moto G4 Plus which features a fingerprint sensor.
Officially nothing is mentioned in the press invitation except the date. The company is expected to launch the next-generation Moto G-series smartphones Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India first.
Lenovo has confirmed changing the brand name as “Moto by Lenovo” from Moto. Moto G4 smartphone is likely to be launched with the new brand name when compared to its earlier models.
The Lenovo-owned Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have leaked quite a few times recently via videos and images in the social media sites. The leaked image showed the white-coloured Moto G4 Plus with a square-shaped fingerprint sensor placed at centre in place of a home button. The speaker grille, a front-facing camera, and the rear camera with flash and autofocus sensors enclosed in a pill-shaped module and the company logo below the camera. The new models seemed slightly bigger in size when compared to its earlier models.
