Moto by Lenovo last month unveiled the Moto G4 as well as the Moto G4 Plus handsets for sale in India. However, only the latter was made available following the launch, with the former having been given a vague June release window.
The company has now finally confirmed that the Moto G4 will go on sale via Amazon from June 22 onwards. The price of this device is still to be confirmed though. For those unaware, the G4 Plus is sold at Rs 13499 (16GB) or Rs 14999 (32GB).
Both of them are not too different in terms of specs, but the Plus model does have some upgrades under its belt like a fingerprint scanner and a 16MP camera. The Moto G4 comes with neither of those.
It carries on its front a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display, and runs on a 1.5GHz octa core Snapdragon 617 processor that’s paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage onboard, aside from a microSD card slot which supports additional space of up to 128GB.
