Microsoft Lumia 650 Windows 10 smartphone goes on sale in India at Rs 15,299
New Delhi: Lumia 650, the smartphone which offers “the best of Microsoft productivity and security, all wrapped in a beautiful slim package” is coming to India. Even Though, the official company site has listed the device as ‘Coming Soon’, the third party retailers like eBay and Amazon India has already listed the device with a price tag of Rs. 15,800 and Rs. 16,599 respectively.
Amazon India also listed that the Lumia 650 will start shipping from 30 April to the customers.
The Redmond giant first launched the Lumia 650 in February claiming that it is a corporate-centric device, which will run on Microsoft’s Windows 10 mobile operating system. With a familiar Lumia design, the device lets the IT managers to test the new update before installing on the smartphone.
Microsoft Lumia 650 sports a 5-inch 720p HD AMOLED screen with 720×1280 pixels resolution and consists of Microsoft’s ClearBLACK polariser, reinforced with Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, the dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor and bundled with 1GB RAM. The 650 comes with 16GB inbuilt memory, which can be further expanded up to 200GB through the microSD card slot.
In the camera section, the device consists of an 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. While, it has a 5-megapixel front shooter having a f/2.2 aperture. The phone is backed by a 2,000mAh battery and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1.
According to the rumours, Lumia 650 is likely to be the last ‘Lumia’ smartphone to be launched this year. It is touted by considering the fact that Microsoft is secretly working on a mystery Surface Phone for this year.
