Maruti Suzuki launches Alto special edition inspired by ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’
Maruti Suzuki recently launched limited edition models of the Alto 800 and Alto K10. These editions of the Alto duo, inspired by M.S. Dhoni, are part of the company’s association with the upcoming movie based on the life of ace Indian cricketer MS Dhoni – ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’. While the automaker is yet to reveal the price of the cars, they will be available across its dealerships in India from October 2016.

Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India, said, “Alto’s association with the movie is based on the cricketer’s massive popularity which harmonises with the credibility of the car in India. As iconic brands both are equally loved and recognised across languages and cultures across India. Alto is the only car brand to cumulatively sell 30 lakh units. M S Dhoni is a living legend of Indian cricket and is recognised for his dynamic leadership style in cricketing world. The achievements and recognitions of both MS Dhoni and Alto make them the true stars of their own leagues.”
The limited edition Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and Alto K10 will feature no changes save for the body graphics, decal of M.S. Dhoni’s signature, sporty seat covers with number ‘7’ inscribed on them, high-end music system, reverse parking sensors, etc.. The limited edition Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and Alto K10 will continue to come powered by the 47.3bhp 796cc engine and the 67bhp 998cc K10B engine, respectively.
