Lenovo IdeaPad 100S affordable Windows 10 laptop unveiled
New Delhi: Lenovo has finally brought its new IdeaPad 100S to Indian shores and is selling it exclusively via Snapdeal. The affordable laptop can be bought in exchange of Rs 14499. To recall, it had made its debut back in September last year at the IFA 2015 alongside a number of other products.
The main appeal of the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S is its budget-friendly cost within a decently specced package. The device runs on Windows 10 and gets its juice from a 2-cell 39Whr battery. The brand claims the unit can power the laptop for 8 hours on a single charge.
This combined with the Lenovo offering’s relatively light 1kg weight and 0.7-inch thickness makes it a viable option for frequent on-the-go travelers. As for its processing capabilities, the company has equipped it with a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F SoC with a maximum clock speed of 1.83GHz and 2GB of DDR3L RAM.
The IdeaPad 100S carries an 11.6-inch LED Glossy 1366 x 768p screen. Its two 1W speakers are supposed to provide a superior sound experience thanks to Dolby Advanced Audio technology. It packs 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. There’s also a 0.3MP webcam on-board for video calling.
