Royal Enfield maker, Eicher Motors Ltd., on Monday reported that its motorcycles sales grew 31 percent in July to 53,378 units from 40,760 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
Two-wheeler exports also rose 40 percent to 1,250 units in the last month as compared to 893 units in the year-ago month, the company said in a filing to BSE.
Sales of models with engine capacity of up to 350 cc soared by 31 percent to 47,651 units while models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc rose 32 percent to 5,727 units.
The company’s scrip was up 0.02 percent to Rs 22,470 as of 12.34 p.m.
