The Delhi University (DU) will be commencing the online registration for the undergraduate programmes from May 22. The admissions this year is delayed by a month. As per the latest update, Delhi University will start the admissions to postgraduate and MPhil/PhD courses from May 31. Earlier, it was decided by the administration of the university that the admissions are likely to commence in the third week of April so that students could get more time to apply.
The admissions to the University of Delhi commences in the month of June. As per the officials, due to technical glitches with the server, the consequence resulted into the delay in rectifying the same on the official website. DU will start the admission to undergraduate courses on the basis of merit on May 22 and on the basis of entrance exam on May 31.
As per the statement by the registrar of Delhi University, “The eligible applicants are informed that the registration process of all the programmes will be completely online, including sports, extra-curricular activities (ECA), Kashmiri migrants, CW (Defence), and PwD categories. The details of registration process and subsequent procedure will be available in the Bulletin of Information, which will be uploaded online soon.” In the year 2016, Delhi University Admissions started on June 1 and continued till June 19.
