Apple iPhone 7 launch is on its way on September 7. Ahead of the iPhone 7 release, there is good news for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus buyers in India. We have unconfirmed reports that Apple is going to cut the price of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s by up to Rs. 5,000 in the country. According to PC-Tablet sources, the reduced prices will be announced in the first week of iPhone 7 launch.
Post iPhone 7 release, the iPhone 6 price will come down to somewhere around Rs. 34,900, which is right now available for Rs. 38,950 (Amazon price). The iPhone 6 Plus priced at around Rs. 50,000 will be available for less than Rs. 45,000. The same goes for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as well. If the reports turn out to be true, the final price of iPhone 6 series would be less than the Samsung’s flagship S6 series.
As we mentioned above, these are just unconfirmed reports and there is no official announcement from the company yet. But it’s highly likely that Apple announces the price drop to create a hype around iPhone 7. We would suggest all those who are planning on buying the iPhone 6 series to hold on for a week.
