HTC has sent out media invites for an event in Delhi on Thursday, and it is widely expected that the company will launch its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC 10, in India. HTC is currently in the process of sending out block your date invites to the media for the launch event.

The phone comes with a full-metal unibody with distinct chamfers. The front is carved out of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is pretty reminiscent of the HTC One A9, a phone that drew quite a controversy for resembling a certain iPhone. It comes with a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing purposes.
It comes with a 5.2-inch QuadHD super LCD 5 display with a 2560 x 1440-pixel resolution and is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal memory which is further expandable by up to 2TB via microSD card. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense 7 UI and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The HTC 10 sports a 12-megapixel (UltraPixel) camera on the rear with f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus, Optical Image Stabilisation and dualLED flash. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera on the front with f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, Optical Image Stabilisation and a screen flash.
The phone supports BoomSound Hi-Fi with Dolby Audio. It has a dual speaker layout boasting of a separate tweeter and woofer design along with a dedicated amplifier for each. The HTC 10 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which is non-removable.
